Kid Sublime is one of those house heads who knows just how to channel the true soulful spirit of black American music into his productions, and he's being doing it since the turn of the century. This latest outing for the gifted producer comes by way of Tomorrow Is Now Kid and it couldn't be more on-point. "The Underground Anthem" truly is anthemic with its catchy-as-hell key hook, stirring strings and switched-on vocal samples. "Duke's Jack" takes a more heads down club approach but still finds space for some vibes, "Jack 2 The Future" pushes the piano to the fore and ups the swing and then "Hi-Teck Blak" channels some broken beat flavours to devastating effect.
